6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Palm Coast, FL

Just south of St. Augustine Beach, this park showcases multiple habitats: shoreline coquina rock formations on the pristine Atlantic Ocean section, the Intracoastal shoreline of Matanzas River, and the lush landscape shaded under the hammock of sprawling oak trees. Formal gardens are the showpiece of this park, with native and exotic species, an azalea and camellia trail, and a rose garden. There are also many hiking and biking trails, picnic and grilling pavilion, ADA restrooms, visitor center, interpretive exhibits, seawall and surf fishing, birding, wildlife viewing, and a playground. Special events include garden tours, photo challenges, music events, classes, yoga programs, and more. Leashed pets allowed except in the gardens or on the beach.
